Canada led the way by banning the it from childrens’ products, and now regulators around the world are starting to invest money into researching the potential health risks from bisphenol-A, or BPA, a widely used chemical component of plastic bottles and food packaging.
In a shift of position, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in January it had “some concern about the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behaviour and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children,” and would join other federal health agencies in studying the chemical in both animals and humans.
The government will spend $30-million on BPA research in humans and animals, to take place over 18 to 24 months.

Des biberons en inox !
En feuilletant les pages de mon magazine préféré, je suis tombée nez à nez avec cette publicité qui nous présente un tout nouveau biberon, complètement novateur en son genre : un biberon en inox ! La marque canadienne OrganicKidz a lancé ce biberon en janvier 2009, et voilà le produit arrivé en France il y a peu dans de très rares boutiques, plutôt baba-chics, ou sur des sites Internet : plutôt tournés maman bio et écolo !

A première vue je me suis montrée très sceptique et peu réceptive à ce look d’un tout nouveau genre, mais passées ces premières impressions plutôt mauvaises, et en m’y penchant un peu plus, j’ai découvert un biberon absolument positif en de très nombreux points !
Pour commencer, il a l’avantage d’être résistant aux chutes, nous pourrions même dire qu’il est incassable !
Ensuite, ce biberon a surtout une qualité incomparable : il conserve la boisson de bébé à la bonne température, que ce soit un lait chaud ou un jus de fruit frais : l’inox joue un rôle isotherme. Ce qui est franchement appréciable quand nous partons en promenade tout un après-midi ou toute une matinée et que nous ne sommes pas sûrs de l’heure du retour à la maison !
Pour finir ces biberons au look futuriste présentent d’autres qualités et non des moindres : ils sont composés en inox 100% recyclable, ce qui est bon pour la planète n’est-ce pas ! Et d’autre part, ils sont fabriqués sans bisphénol A -ni phtalates, ce qui est bon pour la santé de nos petits anges et cela est franchement rassurant !

…di biberon nuova generazione…

Belli questi biberon di nuova generazione realizzati in acciaio. Sono colorati, divertenti e rivoluzionari.
Al contrario di quelli di vetro, un pò pericolosi a mio avviso ma che comunque, al contrario di quelli in plastica, mantengono inalterate le proprietà e il sapore di ciò che i bimbi bevono, questi della OrganicKidz sono assolutamente infrangibili e non danno quel gusto di plastica al latte di mammà.
Alla leggerezza, poi, abbinano un design davvero accattivante.
Lavabili in lavastoviglie, sono compatibili con la maggior parte delle tettarelle in commercio (almeno da quello che dicono sul sito…che però è americano, chissà se è lo stesso per il mercato italiano ..!).
Sono disonibili nelle tre misure standard, hanno il grandissimo pregio di essere completamente atossici e sono riciclabili!
Non male per un semplice biberon!!!
Non so voi ma io Li Voglio…. come sempre!!!!!
